  • Cut the chicken fillets into bitesize pieces. cm?

  • In a small bowl, combine the honey with the soy sauce, hoisin sauce and spices. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 
  • In a large bowl, combine the chicken with the honey-soy marinade and mix well. 
  • Cover with clingfilm and place in the fridge for 30 minutes (Tip). 

Tip: You can also leave the chicken in the fridge overnight, marinate up to 24 hours.

  • Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Scoop the chicken out of the marinade and fry the chicken 6 - 8 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, transfer the marinade to a sauce pan over low heat and simmer gently until it forms a thick glaze.
  • Chop the scallions into small rings.

  • Transer the chicken to the honey-soy glaze and toss to combine well.
  • Place the sticky chicken bites on a serving platter. 
  • Scatter with the sesame seeds and garnisch with the scallions.
  • Serve while hot.
