  • Boil plenty of water in a pot or saucepan and cook the rigatoni for 13 to 15 minutes. ( Reserve some of the pasta water) , then drain and set aside.

  • Heat a knob of butter in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken burger for 6 - 8 minutes, turning regularly. Add the sage leaves and the chopped garlic into the pan. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

  • Remove the chicken burger from the pan and add the sliced mushrooms cook for 3 - 5 minutes add the cherry tomatoes, and cook it for 3 -4 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.

  • Mix the rigatoni with the sauce (add a few spoons of pasta water to create the sauce).
  • Cut the chicken burger into slices to serve on top of the pasta.
