- Crush or mince the garlic.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake the pita bread for 4 - 6 minutes, or use a toaster.
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry half of the garlic with the chopped onion and bell pepper strips for 4-5 minutes.
- Dice the cucumber and tomato.
- Finely chop the fresh herbs.
- Add the Greek style spice mix and shrimps to the vegetables and bake for another 3 minutes until done.
- In the meantime in a small bowl mix the mayonaise, 1/2 of the fresh herbs and the rest of the garlic (see Tip). Season with salt and peper.
- In another bowl, mix the diced cucumber and tomato with the rest of fresh herbs. Add 1/2 tbsp of white wine vinegar, 1/2 tbsp of honey and 1/2 tbsp of olive oil per person. Season with salt and pepper.
Tip: If you don't like raw garlic, fry it with the shirmps instead.
- Fill the pitabreads with the shrimp and vegetables and top with the sauce.
- Serve the cucumber tomato salad on the side and crumble the Greek style cheese on the salad.
