Cooking Steps

Voorbereiden

  • Verwarm de oven voor op 180 graden.
  • Verhit 1/2 el olijfolie in een koekenpan met deksel op middelhoog vuur en bak de kipburger 5 minuten.
  • Snijd ondertussen de ui in halve ringen.
  • Verwijder de zaadlijsten van de rode peper (let op: pittig! Gebruik naar smaak) en snijd de rode peper fijn.
Bakken

  • Voeg de ui en de rode peper toe aan de koekenpan en bak 4 - 5 minuten mee.
  • Bak ondertussen het broodje 6 - 8 minuten in de oven.
Salade maken

  • Snijd de tomaat en de komkommer in kleine blokjes. Laat de mais uitlekken. 
  • Maak in een saladekom een dressing van per persoon: 1/2 el extra vierge olijfolie en 1/2 el witte balsamicoazijn. Breng op smaak met peper en zout. Meng de tomaat, mais, komkommer en sla door de dressing.
  • Meng in een kleine kom de mayonaise met de zoet-pittige chilisaus.
Serveren

  • Snijd de broodjes open en beleg met de kipburger en ui. Top af met wat chilimayonaise.
  • Meng de overige chilimayonaise door de salade. Breng op smaak met peper en zout.
  • Serveer de broodjes met de salade ernaast.

Weetje: Mais is een goede bron van magnesium - belangrijk voor de vorming van bot en spieren. Andere magnesiumrijke ingrediënten zijn pinda's, peulvruchten, banaan, volkoren granen en cacao.
