Cooking Steps

  • Verwarm de oven voor op 220 graden.
  • Snipper de helft van de ui en snijd de andere helft in dunne halve ringen.
  • Meng in een kom per persoon: 1/2 el rodewijnazijn en 1/2 tl suiker. Voeg de uienringen toe, breng op smaak met zout en zet apart tot gebruik.
  • Schep af en toe om, zodat de smaken goed intrekken.

  • Pers de knoflook of snijd fijn.
  • Verhit 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon in een hapjespan op middelhoog vuur. Voeg de gesnipperde ui, knoflook en het gehakt toe en bak los in 3 minuten.
  • Blus het gehakt af met de passata en meng de mexicaanse kruiden erdoor. Breng aan de kook en laat 2 - 3 minuten zachtjes pruttelen. Breng op smaak met peper en zout.
  • Meng in een kom de Mexicaanse groenten met 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon, peper en zout.

Tip: Let op: de Mexicaanse kruiden zijn pittig! Houd je niet van pittig of eten er kinderen mee? Gebruik dan naar smaak minder kruiden of houd apart.

  • Verspreid de tortilla's over een bakplaat met bakpapier en bak 2 - 3 minuten in de oven.
  • Verdeel vervolgens de gehakt-tomatensaus over de tortilla's en verdeel hierover de groentenmix.
  • Bestrooi met de kaas.
  • Bak nog 4 - 5 minuten in de oven zodat de kaas smelt.

  • Verdeel de tortillapizza's over de borden. En snijd in stukken.
  • Garneer met de gepekelde ui.
