Cooking Steps

Voorbereiden

  • Verwarm de oven voor op 200 graden.
  • Snijd de appel in dunne plakjes. Snijd de cherrytomaten door de helft.
  • Haal de ontbijtspekplakjes los en leg ze op een bakplaat met bakpapier. Bak het spek 5 - 8 minuten in de oven.
  • Laat de oven daarna aan voor het briochebroodje in stap 3.
Krieltjes bakken

  • Verhit 1/2 el roomboter per persoon in een koekenpan met deksel op middelhoog vuur.
  • Voeg de voorgekookte krieltjes en 1 1/2 tl BBQ rub (let op: pittig! Gebruik naar smaak) per persoon toe. Bak de voorgekookte krieltjes, afgedekt, 12 - 14 minuten.
  • Haal de laatste 5 minuten het deksel van de pan. Breng op smaak met peper en zout.

Weetje: Krieltjes eet je eigenlijk altijd met schil. Wist je dat je daardoor niet alleen meer vezels binnenkrijgt, maar ook meer vitaminen? Zoals vitamine B6 - onder andere belangrijk voor de stofwisseling.

Burger bakken

  • Verhit 1/2 el roomboter per persoon in een koekenpan met deksel op middelhoog vuur.
  • Bak de burger, afgedekt, 3 - 5 minuten per kant.
  • Verdeel halverwege de geraspte kaas over de burger.
  • Bak ondertussen het briochebroodje 2 - 3 minuten in de oven.
Serveren

  • Maak een dressing in een saladekom van per persoon: 1 tl mosterd, 1 tl honing, 1 tl witte balsamicoazijn, 1/2 el extra vierge olijfolie, peper en zout. Meng de appel, cherrytomaten en de slamix door de dressing.
  • Verdeel de krieltjes over de borden.
  • Snijd het briochebroodje doormidden. Beleg met de burger en het ontbijtspek en smeer de uienchutney op de andere helft van het broodje.
  • Serveer met de salade en mayonaise naar smaak.
