Voorbereiden

  • Bereid de bouillon. Breng ruim water aan de kook in een pan met deksel voor de krieltjes en de broccoli (zie Tip).
  • Snipper de ui. Snijd de bloem van de broccoli in roosjes en de steel in blokjes.
  • Was de krieltjes, halveer en snijd eventuele grote krieltjes in kwarten.
  • Halveer de gehaktballetjes.

Tip: Kook je voor meer dan 4 personen? Gebruik dan 2 pannen om de krieltjes en de broccoli afzonderlijk te koken.

Groenten koken

  • Verhit 1/2 el roomboter per persoon in een koekenpan op middelhoog vuur en bak de gehaktballetjes in 2 - 3 minuten rondom bruin. Haal uit de pan en bewaar apart. Ze hoeven nog niet helemaal gaar te zijn. Bewaar de koekenpan met bakvet. 
  • Kook de krieltjes, afgedekt, 9 minuten.
  • Voeg de broccoli toe en kook 4 - 6 minuten mee, of tot de krieltjes en broccoli gaar zijn. 
  • Giet daarna af en laat uitstomen.

Weetje: Broccoli is rijk aan onder andere calcium, kalium, ijzer en vitamine B, C en E.

Saus maken

  • Voeg de ui toe aan de koekenpan van de gehaktballetjes en fruit 1 - 2 minuten. Voeg de sojasaus, room, bouillon, mosterd, bloem en de aangegeven hoeveelheid water toe aan de koekenpan.
  • Meng het geheel met een garde en laat de saus 5 - 6 minuten inkoken. Voeg eventueel wat extra bloem toe als de saus te dun blijft.
  • Voeg de gehaktballetjes weer toe aan de pan en verhit nog 6 - 8 minuten.
Serveren

  • Verdeel de krieltjes en broccoli over de borden en garneer met de gomasio-tuinkruidenmix.
  • Schep de balletjes met de saus ernaast.
  • Serveer de cranberrychutney erbij.
