Cooking Steps

Marinate the pork

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (see Tip). Crush or mince the garlic.
  • Cut any larger pieces of pork in half, then transfer to a bowl. Lightly drizzle with olive oil, then add the garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce and honey.
  • Mix well to combine, then set aside to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Tip: you will heat the tortillas in the oven later, but you can also use a frying pan if preferred.

Fry the vegetables

  • Dice the bell pepper. 
  • Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a wok or deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Fry the bell pepper with the cabbage for 8 minutes, seasoning to taste with salt and pepper.

Fry the pork

  • In the meantime, slice the cucumber. 
  • Wrap the tortillas in aluminium foil and heat in the oven for 3 minutes.
  • Heat a clean frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Fry the pork tenderloin tips in their marinade for 3 - 6 minutes or until done.
Serve

  • Serve all the elements in separate bowls: the stir-fried vegetables, the pork, the tortillas, the cucumber and the gomashio.
  • Allow everyone to assemble their own tortillas as preferred.
