Krieltjes bakken

Was de krieltjes en snijd doormidden. Verhit 1 el olijfolie per persoon in een hapjespan met deksel en bak de krieltjes 25 – 30 minuten, afgedekt, op middelhoog vuur. Schep regelmatig om en haal na 20 minuten het deksel van de pan.

Snijd ondertussen de romaine sla grof. Snijd de pruimtomaat in parten. Snijd de rode ui in dunne halve ringen. Hak de augurk fijn.

Saus maken

Meng in een kleine kom de mayonaise, de worcestershiresaus, de helft van de gehakte augurk en een snuf zout. Voeg per persoon: 1/2 tl wittewijnazijn en 1/2 el water toe. Bewaar apart tot gebruik.

Limousinburger bakken

Verhit 1/2 el roomboter per persoon in een koekenpan op middelhoog vuur. Bak de limousinburger 2 - 3 minuten op de ene kant. Draai de burger vervolgens om, verdeel de cheddar over de burgers en bak nog 2 - 3 minuten op de andere kant.

Meng in een saladekom: de romaine sla, de pruimtomaat, de rode ui en de helft van het mayonaise-sausje. Breng op smaak met peper en zout.

Serveren

Verdeel de salade over kommen. Serveer met de krieltjes, limousinburger met cheddar en de overige augurk. Besprenkel met de rest van het mayonaise-sausje.
