Cooking Steps

Voorbereiden

  • Kook ruim water met zout in een pan met deksel voor de pasta (zie Tip). 
  • Kook de pasta, afgedekt, 10 - 12 minuten in de pan met deksel. Giet af, maar bewaar wat van het kookvocht.
  • Snijd de tomaat in blokjes. Snijd de ui in halve ringen.
  • Scheur de ham in stukjes. Scheur of snijd de mozzarella.

Tip: Wil je tijd besparen? Kook dan het water voor de pasta in een waterkoker.

Roosteren en snijden

  • Verhit een koekenpan zonder olie op hoog vuur en rooster de pompoenpitten tot ze beginnen te poffen. Haal uit de pan en bewaar apart.
  • Snijd ondertussen het basilicum fijn.
Mengen

  • Verhit 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon in dezelfde koekenpan op middelhoog vuur. Bak de ui, rode pesto en tomaat 3 - 5 minuten.
  • Voeg de pasta en 1 el kookvocht per persoon toe aan de koekenpan met groenten en meng goed.
  • Breng op smaak met peper en zout.

  • Verdeel de pasta over de borden.
  • Bestrooi met de ham en mozzarellastukjes.
  • Garneer met het basilicum en de pompoenpitten.
