Cooking Steps

  • Breng ruim water aan de kook in een pan met deksel voor de rijst.
  • Rasp de gember fijn. Pers de knoflook of snijd fijn.
  • Meng in een kom de olijfolie, suiker, sojasaus, gember en de helft van de knoflook.
  • Voeg de biefstukreepjes toe aan de kom en meng goed. Zet opzij en laat marineren.
Rijst koken

  • Kook de rijst 12 - 15 minuten in de pan. Giet daarna af en laat uitstomen.
  • Verwijder de zaadlijsten van de rode peper (let op: pittig! Gebruik naar smaak) en snijd de rode peper fijn.
  • Snijd de champignons in kwarten.
  • Snijd de bosui in fijne ringen en bewaar het witte en groene gedeelte apart van elkaar.

  • Verhit de helft van de zonnebloemolie in een koekenpan op middelhoog vuur.
  • Bak de champignons, de rode peper en het witte gedeelte van de bosui 4 - 6 minuten. Breng op smaak met peper en zout.
  • Verhit de overige zonnebloemolie in een wok of hapjespan met deksel op middelhoog vuur. Voeg de spitskool en de overige knoflook toe en bak, afgedekt, 5 - 8 minuten.
  • Haal het deksel van de pan, voeg de zoete Aziatische saus toe en roer goed door.

  • Voeg de biefstukreepjes met marinade toe aan de pan met champignons. Bak de biefstukreepjes in 1 - 2 minuten rondom bruin. De biefstuk mag nog rosé zijn vanbinnen.
  • Verdeel de rijst over kommen of diepe borden en schep de biefstukreepjes met champignons en spitskool op de rijst.
  • Garneer met het groene gedeelte van de bosui.
