Verwarm de oven voor op 180 graden. Pers de knoflook of snijd fijn. Snipper de ui. Rasp de gember met een fijne rasp. Snijd de limoen in partjes. Laat de mais uitlekken en bewaar apart in een kom.

Tip: Mais is een goede bron van magnesium - belangrijk voor de vorming van bot en spieren. Andere magnesiumrijke ingrediënten zijn pinda's, peulvruchten, banaan, volkoren granen en cacao.

Meng in een kleine kom de knoflook, gember, sojasaus en 1/2 el water per persoon tot een marinade. Pers er vervolgens 1 limoenpartje per persoon boven uit. Verhit 1/2 el zonnebloemolie per persoon in een koekenpan op middelhoog vuur. Fruit de ui 2 - 3 minuten. Voeg het rundergehakt toe aan de pan en bak in 3 - 4 minuten bruin.

Tip: Let jij op je zoutinname? Voeg dan de helft van de sojasaus toe. Wie wil kan na het serveren eventueel naar smaak meer toevoegen.

Smaakmakers bereiden

Verpak de tortilla's in aluminiumfolie en verwarm 3 - 4 minuten in de oven. Voeg de marinade toe aan de pan met rundergehakt en bak nog 2 - 3 minuten. Hak ondertussen de pinda's en de verse muntblaadjes grof. Meng in een kleine kom de mayonaise, de zoete Aziatische saus en per persoon: 1/2 tl wittewijnazijn en 1/2 el water.

Tip: Deze maaltijd is calorierijk. Let jij op je calorie-inname? Vervang dan een deel van de mayonaise door yoghurt en voeg per persoon: 1 tl mayonaise en 2 el yoghurt toe.

Serveer de mais, slamix, gesneden wittekool en wortel, pinda's, verse munt, gebakken rundergehakt en limoenpartjes allemaal in verschillende kommen. Serveer met het mayonaisesausje. Verdeel de mini-tortilla's over de borden en laat iedereen zijn eigen tortilla beleggen.
