Cooking Steps

Voorbereiden

  • Verwarm de oven voor op 200 graden.
  • Verhit de helft van de olijfolie in een koekenpan op middelhoog vuur. Bak de vegetarische döner kebab en de helft van de ui 5 - 7 minuten (zie Tip).
  • Pers het sap uit de sinaasappel.
  • Verhoog het vuur, blus af met het sinaasappelsap en de honing en laat 1 - 2 minuut inkoken. Zet afgedekt opzij.

Tip: Je serveert de overige ui rauw. Houd je hier niet van? Bak alle ui in deze stap dan mee met de vegetarische döner kebab.

Tortilla's bakken

  • Meng ondertussen in een kleine kom 1 el water per persoon met de overige olijfolie.
  • Besmeer een kant van de tortilla's met wat van het olijfolie-watermengsel en besprenkel met de za'atar.
  • Leg de tortilla's met de za'atar kant omlaag op een bakplaat met bakpapier en bak de tortilla's 3 - 5 minuten in de oven.
Salade maken

  • Snijd ondertussen de komkommer in halve maantjes. Snijd de tomaat in partjes.
  • Snijd de bladpeterselie fijn.
  • Meng in een kom de komkommer, tomaat, bladpeterselie en de overige ui. Breng op smaak met extra vierge olijfolie, peper en zout.
  • Meng in een kleine kom de roomkaas met de Midden-Oosterse kruiden.
Serveren

  • Besmeer de bovenkant van de tortilla's met de roomkaas.
  • Verdeel een deel van de groenten en de vegetarische döner kebab eroverheen.
  • Serveer de overige groenten ernaast. 

Weetje: Komkommers bestaan voor een groot deel uit water, maar bevatten ook vitaminen en mineralen. Ze hydrateren, bevatten weinig calorieën en zorgen tegelijkertijd voor essentiële voedingsstoffen. Win-win-win dus!
