Tabouleh is een salade uit de Libanese keuken die bestaat uit bulgur of couscous en kleingesneden groenten. De tomaat, radijs en komkommer die jij aan de couscous toevoegt, komen van Hollandse bodem. De salade krijgt extra veel smaak er door heel fijngesneden kruiden aan toe te voegen.

Cooking Steps

Voeg bouillon toe en laat de couscous wellen.

Bereid de bouillon en snijd de radijs in fijne plakken. Bewaar het radijsblad. Meng de couscous, radijs en vijgenstukjes in een saladekom. Voeg de bouillon toe en laat, afgedekt, 10 minuten wellen.

Snijd ondertussen de helft van het radijsblad klein. Snijd de appel (junami) en komkommer in kleine blokjes. Snijd de pruimtomaten in kwarten en snijd de munt en bladpeterselie fijn. Verkruimel de feta.

Snijd de verse kruiden fijn.

Voeg het radijsblad, appel, komkommer, tomaat, verse kruiden, extra vierge olijfolie, witte balsamicoazijn en de helft van de feta toe aan de saladekom. Breng op smaak met peper en zout.

Serveer de maaltijd, eet smakelijk!

Verdeel het gerecht over de borden, garneer met de overige feta en besprenkel naar smaak met extra vierge olijfolie.
