Controleer wel even of deze echt magnetronbestendig zijn. Dit zie je onderop je servies aan het 'microwave-safe'-icoon. Let op: gebruik nooit aluminum(folie) of metaal in de magnetron.

Cooking Steps

Voorbereiden

  • Verwarm de oven voor op 200 graden. Breng ruim water aan de kook in een pan met deksel. 
  • Snijd de bloem van de broccoli in roosjes en de steel in blokjes. 
  • Snijd de ui in halve ringen en pers de knoflook of snijd fijn. 
  • Was of schil de zoete aardappel en snijd in partjes.
Zoete aardappel garen

  • Voeg de zoete aardappel toe aan een hittebestendige kom (zie Tip). Voeg de helft van de roomboter en 1 el water per persoon toe. Dek de kom af met vershoudfolie en prik er een paar gaatjes in. 
  • Verwarm 4 - 5 minuten in de magnetron op de hoogste stand, of tot de zoete aardappel zacht is. Bewaar apart.

Tip: Geen magnetron? Je kunt de zoete aardappel ook in de oven bereiden. Meng de zoete aardappel met het paprikapoeder en 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon. Bak 25 - 30 minuten in de oven, of tot goudbruin. Schep halverwege om. 

Broccoli bereiden

  • Kook ondertussen de broccoli 3 - 4 minuten in de pan. Giet daarna af.
  • Verdeel de broccoli over een bakplaat met bakpapier. Houd wat ruimte over voor de zoete aardappel. Breng op smaak met peper en zout en bestrooi met de geitenkaas.

Weetje: Broccoli wordt niet voor niets gezien als een supergroente. Het is rijk aan onder andere calcium, kalium, ijzer en vitamine B, C en E.

Roosteren

  • Verwijder voorzichtig het vershoudfolie van de kom met zoete aardappel. Giet eventueel vocht af. Meng met het paprikapoeder en 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon. Verdeel de zoete aardappel naast de broccoli op de bakplaat. 
  • Rooster de broccoli en zoete aardappel 5 - 7 minuten in de oven.
Gehaktballetjes bakken

  • Verhit ondertussen de overige roomboter in een koekenpan met deksel op middelhoog vuur. Bak de gehaktballetjes in 2 - 3 minuten rondom bruin.
  • Verlaag het vuur en voeg de knoflook en ui toe. Dek de pan af en bak 5 - 6 minuten verder.
  • Voeg de uienchutney en het water toe. Breng op smaak met peper en zout. Roer goed door en laat 3 minuten zachtjes pruttelen.
Serveren

  • Verdeel de gehaktballetjes over de borden. Schep de uienjus eroverheen.
  • Serveer met de zoete-aardappelpartjes en de broccoli met kaas.
  • Garneer de broccoli met de gomasio.
  • Serveer met mayonaise naar smaak.
