Cooking Steps

Orzo koken

Kook ruim water in een pan met deksel voor de orzo en kook, afgedekt, 10 - 12 minuten. Giet daarna af en laat zonder deksel uitstomen.

Voorbereiden

Pers ondertussen de knoflook of snijd fijn. Snijd de ui in halve ringen. Pluk de blaadjes van het verse basilicum en de bladpeterselie en snijd samen met de bieslook fijn. Halveer de courgette in de lengte en snijd daarna in blokjes. Snijd de citroen in partjes. 

Garnalen bakken

Verhit ondertussen 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon in een wok of hapjespan met deksel en fruit de knoflook en ui 1 - 2 minuten op laag vuur. Voeg de garnalen, de helft van het amandelschaafsel en de helft van de verse kruiden toe en bak 2 - 3 minuten op middelhoog vuur. Breng op smaak met peper en zout.

Courgette bakken

Haal de garnalen, ui en verse kruiden uit de wok of hapjespan en houd apart. Verhit in dezelfde pan 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon en bak de courgette 2 - 3 minuten op middelhoog vuur. Voeg de tomatenblokjes en 1 tl suiker per persoon toe. Verkruimel 1/4 bouillonblokje per persoon boven de pan, breng op smaak met peper en zout en laat 5 - 6 minuten koken op middellaag vuur, of tot de courgette beetgaar.

Weetje: Wist je dat tomaten uit blik of pak bijna net zoveel vitaminen en mineralen bevatten als verse tomaten? Bij elkaar opgeteld bevat dit gerecht meer dan 350 gram groente!

Op smaak brengen

Voeg de orzo en garnalen met ui toe aan de wok of hapjespan en verhit het geheel nog 1 minuut op hoog vuur. Knijp 1 citroenpartje per persoon uit boven de pan met pasta. Breng op smaak met peper en zout.

Serveren

Serveer de orzo met het overige amandelschaafsel, de overige verse kruiden en de citroenpartjes.
