Warmgerookte makreelfilet met noedels, peultjes en kokos

Deze heerlijke noedels maak je met warm gerookte makreel. Ma-kreel is een vette vis die in de koelkast wat harder wordt, omdat de vetten van de vis stollen door de koude lucht. Haal de vis daarom 15 minuten van tevoren uit de koelkast. Hierdoor komt het visvlees op kamertemperatuur en wordt het heerlijk zacht!

Cooking Steps

Haal de warmgerookte makreel uit de koelkast. Kook 500 ml water per persoon in een pan met deksel voor de noedels. Snijd de prei in fijne ringen. Verwijder het vel van de makreel en verdeel de makreel met een vork in kleine stukken.

Verhit vervolgens een wok of hapjespan op middelhoog vuur en rooster de kokosrasp, zonder olie, goudbruin. Haal uit de pan en bewaar apart.

Verhit de zonnebloemolie in dezelfde wok of hapjespan en roerbak de prei, sereh en sojasaus 8 - 10 minuten op middelmatig vuur. Voeg halverwege de peultjes toe.

Kook ondertussen de noedels 3 - 4 minuten, afgedekt, in de pan met deksel. Giet vervolgens af en voeg de noedels met de helft van de gerookte makreel en de helft van de kokosrasp toe aan de wok of hapjespan. Verhit al roerend nog 1 minuut op hoog vuur en breng op smaak met peper en zout.

Verdeel het gerecht over de borden en garneer met de overige makreel en kokosrasp.
