Voorbereiden

Verwarm de oven voor op 220 graden. Laat de mais uitlekken en weeg af. Laat ook de tonijn uitlekken. Snipper de rode ui en snijd de tomaat in blokjes.

Meng in een kom de tonijn met de mais, zure room, helft van de tomaat en helft van de rode ui. Breng op smaak met peper en zout. Halveer de ciabatta's en leg ze op een bakplaat met bakpapier. Beleg met de tonijnsalade en verdeel de geraspte cheddar erover. Bak de tuna melts 6 - 8 minuten in de oven.

Maak in een saladekom een dressing van per persoon: 1/2 el extra vierge olijfolie, 1/2 el wittewijnazijn, 1 tl mosterd, peper en zout. Meng de rest van de rode ui en tomaat met de dressing. Meng vlak voor het serveren de gemengde sla met de dressing.
