Cooking Steps

Voorbereiden

Verwarm de oven voor op 200 graden. Snijd de ui in halve ringen (zie Tip). Pers de knoflook of snijd fijn. Snijd de paprika in blokjes.

Tip: Je serveert een deel van de ui rauw. Houd je hier niet van? Bak dan alle ui dan in de volgende stap mee in de tomatensaus.

Tomatensaus maken

Verhit de olijfolie in een koekenpan op middelhoog vuur. Voeg de Mexicaanse kruiden (let op: pittig! Gebruik naar smaak), de knoflook, de helft van de ui en de passata toe en verwarm 4 - 5 minuten op middelhoog vuur. Breng op smaak met peper en zout.

Pizza bakken

Rol het pizzadeeg uit over een bakplaat met bakpapier en besmeer het pizzadeeg met de tomatensaus. Beleg de pizza met de geraspte kaas en paprika en bak 13 - 15 minuten in de oven.

Toppings bereiden

Snijd de koriander fijn (zie Tip). Halveer de avocado en verwijder de pit en schil. Snijd het vruchtvlees in plakken. Snijd de tomaat in blokjes en verkruimel de witte kaas. Meng in een kleine kom de tomaat, koriander en de overige ui. Voeg de extra vierge olijfolie en wittewijnazijn toe, meng goed en breng op smaak met peper en zout. 

Tip: Serveer de koriander eventueel apart zodat iedereen deze naar smaak kan toevoegen.

Haal de pizza uit de oven en garneer met de avocado en de witte kaas (zie Tip).
