Cooking Steps

Voorbereiden

Verwarm de oven voor op 200 graden. Snijd de rode ui in dunne halve ringen en de courgette in dunne halve maantjes. Rasp de halloumi met een grove rasp.

Tip: Het is niet erg als de kaas wat brokkelt. Verkruimel zulke stukjes met je vingers of snijd ze in kleine stukjes. Heb je geen grove rasp? Hak de halloumi dan heel fijn.

Bakken

Leg de flammkuchen op een bakplaat met bakpapier en bak 5 minuten voor in de oven. Verhit 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon in een koekenpan op middelhoog tot hoog vuur. Bak de rode ui en courgette 8 - 10 minuten. Breng op smaak met peper en zout. Snijd de tomaat in kleine blokjes en houd apart.

Tip: Courgette behoort tot de vruchtgroenten zoals komkommer, pompoen en tomaat. Wist je dat courgette rijk is aan ijzer, vitamine C en calcium?

Salade maken

Verdeel de geraspte halloumi over de flammkuchen. Bak de flammkuchen nog 8 – 10 minuten in de oven, of tot de halloumi begint te kleuren. Meng ondertussen in een saladekom per persoon: 1/2 tl wittewijnazijn en 1/2 el extra vierge olijfolie. Meng de rucola en de tomatenblokjes door de dressing en breng op smaak met peper en zout.

Verdeel de rode ui en courgette over de flammkuchen. Garneer de flammkuchen met de balsamicocrème en een deel van de rucolasalade. Leg de overige rucola naast de flammkuchen voordat je ze serveert.
