Cooking Steps

  • Cook water in a kettle and transfer it to a pot or saucepan for the pasta with a pinch of salt.
  • Boil the pasta for 10 - 12 minutes, then drain and set aside. Reserve some pastawater.
  • Chop the onion into half rings.

  • Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large deep frying pan with lid over medium-high heat. Fry the vegetable mix and onion covered for 6 - 7 minutes.
  • Deglaze with the balsamic vinegar.
  • Add the gochujang, the tomato paste and Korean spices and fry for 1 minute. 
  • Add the cooking cream and stir well. Let simmer for 1 minute.

  • Mix the pasta into the sauce together with 75 ml of pastawater per person.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

  • Serve the pasta onto deep plates.
  • Top with half a burrata per person.
  • Scatter over the sesame seeds.
