Cooking Steps

Frieten maken

Verwarm de oven voor op 200 graden. Was of schil de aardappelen en snijd in frieten van maximaal 1 cm dik. Meng ze in een kom met 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon, de BBQ rub, peper en zout. Verdeel de frieten over een bakplaat met bakpapier. Bak 30 - 40 minuten in de oven, of tot ze goudbruin zijn. Schep halverwege om.

Tip: Deze maaltijd is calorierijk. Let jij op je calorie-inname? Serveer dan het broodje hamburger zonder de frieten. Deze kun je op een andere dag deze week verwerken in een soep, salade of ander gerecht.

Maiskolf bereiden

Leg de maiskolf op een stuk aluminiumfolie van 30 x 30 cm per persoon. Smeer 1/2 el plantaardige margarine per persoon over de kolf over en breng op smaak met peper en zout. Vouw de aluminiumfolie dicht zodat er geen lucht bij kan komen. Bak de maiskolf 30 minuten mee in de oven. Let op: maak voorzichtig open want er komt hete stoom uit!

Ui bakken

Snijd de rode ui in dunne halve ringen. Verhit 1/2 el plantaardige margarine per persoon in een koekenpan op middelhoog vuur en bak de uienringen 2 - 3 minuten, voeg een snufje zout toe. Voeg de uienchutney toe en bak nog 2 - 3 minuten. Haal daarna uit de pan en bewaar apart. Snijd de tomaat in plakken terwijl de uienringen bakken.

Burger bakken

Verhit dezelfde koekenpan op middelhoog vuur met 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon. Bak de burger 2-3 minuten per kant. Bak het spinaziebroodje 3-5 minuten mee in de oven.

Burger beleggen

Snijd het spinaziebroodje open en beleg met de burger, uienringen en plakjes tomaat. Je kan eventueel de toppings ook in kleine bakjes op tafels serveren zodat iedereen zijn eigen burger kan beleggen.

Serveren

Verdeel de frieten over de borden en leg op ieder bord een broodje met burger en een maiskolf.

Tip: Mais is een goede bron van magnesium - belangrijk voor de vorming van bot en spieren. Andere magnesiumrijke ingrediënten zijn pinda's, peulvruchten, banaan, volkoren granen en cacao.
