Cooking Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  • Finely chop the onion and the garlic. Roughly chop the spinach. 
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the onion, spinach and garlic for 4 - 5 minutes, until the spinach has wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the spinach to a sieve and press out the moisture with the back of a spoon.

  • Add the spinach to a bowl and crumble in the feta, then mix together. 
  • Roll out the puff pastry and cut it in half lengthways.
  • Spread the spinach-feta mixture on each half, then fold the long edges over the filling and press together to seal it. 
  • Slice into pieces roughly 3cm long.

  • Transfer the bites to a parchment-lined baking sheet. 
  • Drizzle the honey on top and sprinkle with the sesame seeds. 
  • Bake in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes.
