Cooking Steps

Rijst koken

  • Pers de knoflook of snijd fijn.
  • Verhit de roomboter in een pan met deksel op middelhoog vuur. Bak de knoflook met de gemberpuree 1 minuut.
  • Voeg de rijst en het water toe en verkruimel het bouillonblokje erboven.
  • Kook de rijst 10 - 12 minuten. Laat daarna afgedekt staan.
Broccoli koken

  • Breng ruim water met een flinke snuf zout aan de kook in een pan met deksel.
  • Snijd de broccoli in roosjes en snijd de steel in blokjes.
  • Kook de broccoli, afgedekt, 5 - 7 minuten. Giet af en laat uitstomen.
  • Snijd de bosui in stukken van 2 cm. Snijd het basilicum fijn.
Nuggets bakken

  • Verhit de zonnebloemolie in een koekenpan op middelhoog vuur. Bak de vegan nuggets en bosui 6 - 8 minuten, of tot ze goudbruin kleuren.
  • Pers ondertussen de sinaasappel uit. 
  • Haal de vegan nuggets uit de koekenpan en bewaar apart.
  • Voeg het sinaasappelsap en de zoet-pittige chilisaus toe aan de koekenpan. Meng goed en verwarm 1 minuut. Breng op smaak met peper en zout.

  • Serveer de rijst op diepe borden. Leg de broccoli en de vegan nuggets erbovenop. 
  • Besprenkel met de sinaasappelsaus.
  • Garneer de broccoli met de gomasio.
  • Garneer met het basilicum en de cashewstukjes.
