- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Chop the onion and dice the Romano pepper.
- Deseed the jalapeño and slice it into thin rings.
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the onion and Romano pepper for 3 - 4 minutes, then transfer half to a tall container and set aside.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the BBQ rub* and the passata.
- Transfer the pizza dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Spread with the tomato sauce, then top with the shrimp, chorizo, jalapeño* and mozzarella.
- Bake the pizza in the oven for 13 - 15 minutes.
*Take care, these ingredients are spicy! Use as preferred.
- Transfer the olives to the tall container and use an immersion blender to process until smooth.
- Finely chop the fresh herbs.
- Cut half of the lemon into wedges and juice the rest into a small bowl.
- Add the fresh herbs and the extra virgin olive oil, then mix well to combine.
- When the pizza is done, drizzle with the olive-pepper sauce and the herb oil.
- Serve the pizza with the lemon wegdes alongside.
