Cooking Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • In a small bowl mix the dried fig with 2 tbsp of warm water per person and let it soak until further use.
  • Chop the onion into half rings. Quarter the cherry tomatoes.

  • Transfer the pizza dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread with the passata. 
  • Then top with the onion and cherry tomatoes and scatter over the grated cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Bake the pizza in the oven for 13 - 15 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, heat a saucepan on medium-high heat and add the sugar, blueberryjam, half of the balsamic vinegar, and the fig pieces with the water.
  • Mix well, lower the heat, and let the sauce simmer for 4-5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • In a salad bowl, mix the arugula with the basil leaves, the rest of the balsamic vinegar, and extra vierge olive oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Chop the basil into ribbons.

  • Top the pizza with the arugula and basil. 
  • Tear the burrata and serrano ham into small pieces and divide over the pizza.
  • Drizzle the fig-blueberry sauce on top as preferred.
