Verwarm de oven voor op 180 graden en bak het broodje 6 - 8 minuten. Snijd de tomaten in kleine blokjes. Snipper de helft van de ui zeer fijn en snijd de rest in halve ringen. Pers de knoflook of snijd fijn.

Tip: Wist je dat tomaten veel voordelen hebben voor je gezondheid? Ze zijn rijk aan vitamine A, C en E én lycopeen. Lycopeen is een antioxidant en beschermt onze cellen tegen schadelijke invloeden. Hoe rijper de tomaat, hoe meer lycopeen!

Salsa en mayo maken

Meng in een kom de fijngesneden ui, de tomatenblokjes, de knoflook, de extra vierge olijfolie en de zwarte balsamicoazijn. Breng op smaak met peper en zout en bewaar apart. Meng in een kleine kom de mayonaise met de basilicumcrème.

Tip: Let jij op je calorie-inname? Gebruik dan de helft van de mayonaise en de helft van de grana padano. Gebruik eventueel ook de helft van de extra vierge olijfolie voor de tomatensalsa.

Hamburger bakken

Verhit de roomboter in een koekenpan op middelhoog vuur en bak de runderburger samen met de uienringen 2 – 3 minuten per kant, of tot de hamburger gaar is. Strooi in de laatste minuut de helft van de grana padano-vlokken over de burgers.

Snijd het broodje open en besmeer met de basilicummayonaise. Leg de hamburger erop, bedek met 3 el tomatensalsa per persoon en een beetje van de slamix. Meng de overige slamix met de rest van de tomatensalsa en serveer ernaast. Garneer de salade met de overige grana padano-vlokken.
