Cooking Steps

Voorbereiden

Verwarm de oven voor op 200 graden. Snij de rode paprika in kleine blokjes en snipper de rode ui. Snijd eventuele grote stukjes kipgyros in tweeën.

Kipgyros bakken

Verhit de zonnebloemolie in een koekenpan op middelhoog vuur en bak de kipgyros 2 – 3 minuten. De kipgyros hoeft nog niet helemaal gaar te zijn.

Tomatensaus maken

Meng ondertussen in een kleine kom de tomatenpuree met 2 el water per persoon, de gedroogde tijm en ½ tl zwarte balsamicoazijn per persoon. Roer tot een gladde saus en breng op smaak met peper en zout.

Platbroden beleggen

Leg de Libanese platbroden op een bakplaat met bakpapier en besmeer ze met de tomatensaus. Beleg de platbroden met de rode ui, de rode paprika en de kipgyros. Schenk het bakvet van de kipgyros over de pizza's. Bestrooi met de geraspte oude kaas en bak de platbroodpizza's 7 – 9 minuten in de oven, of totdat ze knapperig zijn.

Meng ondertussen in een kom de honing, extra vierge olijfolie, overige balsamicoazijn en peper en zout tot een dressing. Voeg de geschaafde rode kool toe en schep goed om.
