Meng de fijne kristalsuiker, 1 el water per persoon en het gemalen venkelzaad in een kom en roer met een garde totdat de suiker is opgelost.

Snijd de blaadjes verse munt in reepjes en hak de macadamianoten grof. Snijd de onderkant en de bovenkant van de bloedsinaasappels, de grapefruit en de mandarijn en zet op een van de platte kanten rechtop. Snijd er vervolgens de schil, inclusief het witte gedeelte, af en snijd in plakken.
