Cooking Steps

Prepare

  • Crush or mince the garlic.
  • Cut the onion into half rings. 
  • Roughly chop the fresh herbs.

  • Heat a drizzle of sunflower oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Fry the garlic, onion and chicken for 3 - 5 minutes.
  • Add the red cabbage and fry for another 3 - 4 minutes.
  • Pick the leaves from the butter lettuce and set them aside.

  • In a small bowl, mix the tahini with the ketjap and water (see pantry for amount).
  • Add the bean sprouts, ginger stir-fry sauce, sambal* and soy sauce to the chicken. Fry for 1 - 2 minutes. 

*Take care, this ingredient is spicy! Use as preferred.

  • Lay out the carrot tortillas and fill them with the butter lettuce leaves, chicken and veggies.
  • Drizzle over the sweet tahini sauce and garnish with the fresh herbs.
  • Roll up the tortillas and serve on a plate.
