- Preheat the oven to 220°C.
- Peel or wash the potatoes and cut into fries of no more than 1cm thickness.
- Transfer to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, then toss well to coat.
- Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 30 - 35 minutes, tossing halfway.
- In a bowl, combine the white wine vinegar with the sugar and a pinch of salt.
- Add the slaw mix, then toss well to combine. Set aside until serving, stirring occasionally.
- In a small bowl, combine the sweet chili sauce with the mayonnaise (see Tip). Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Health Tip: if you're watching your calorie intake, use just half of the mayonnaise.
- Slice the onion and the Romano pepper into thin half-rings.
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat and fry the meatballs for 3 - 4 minutes until evenly browned.
- Stir in the vegetables and fry for 2 - 3 more minutes, then cover the pan and allow to stew for 4 - 5 minutes.
- Roughly chop the parsley.
- Serve all the elements separately at the table and allow everyone to build their own burger (or if preferred, just plate everything directly).
- Serve the fries alongside.
