Cooking Steps

Prepare

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Chop the onion and cut the Romano pepper into strips.
  • Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the onion with the mince and the Romano pepper for 3 - 5 minutes.
  • Bake the naan in the oven for 4 - 6 minutes.
Make the salad

  • In a salad bowl, combine the balsamic vinegar with the extra virgin olive oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Dice the tomato, then transfer to the salad bowl.
  • Add the lamb's lettuce, then toss well to combine with the dressing.
Assemble

  • In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese with the pesto (see Tip).
  • Spread this over the naan, then top with the mixture from the frying pan.

Health Tip: this recipe is high in calories. If you're watching your calorie intake, use just half of the pesto and keep the rest to use another time.
