Voorbereiden

Verwarm de oven op 200 graden. Snijd de appel in dunne partjes. Snijd de tomaten door de helft. Haal de ontbijtspekplakjes los en leg ze op een bakplaat met bakpapier. Leg de walnoten ernaast.

Krieltjes bakken

Verhit 1/2 el roomboter per persoon in een koekenpan met deksel op middelhoog vuur. Voeg de voorgekookte krieltjes en 1 1/2 tl BBQ rub per persoon toe. Bak de voorgekookte krieltjes, afgedekt, 10 - 11 minuten. Haal de laatste 5 minuten het deksel van de pan. Breng op smaak met peper en zout. Bak het spek en de walnoten 5 - 8 minuten in de oven.

Tip: Krieltjes eet je eigenlijk altijd met schil. Wist je dat je daardoor niet alleen meer vezels binnenkrijgt, maar ook meer vitaminen? Zoals vitamine B6 - onder andere belangrijk voor de stofwisseling.

Burger bakken

Verhit 1/2 el roomboter per persoon in een koekenpan met deksel op middelhoog vuur. Snijd de Fourme d'Ambert in dunne plakjes. Bak de burger, afgedekt, 3 - 5 minuten per kant. Verdeel halverwege de kaas over de burger. Bak ondertussen het briochebroodje 2 - 3 minuten in de oven. Maak een dressing in een saladekom van per persoon: 1 tl mosterd, 1 tl honing, 1 tl witte balsamicoazijn, 1/2 el extra vierge olijfolie, peper en zout.

Meng de appel en tomaten met de slamix door de dressing. Strooi de walnoten eroverheen. Verdeel de krieltjes over de borden. Snijd het briochebroodje doormidden. Beleg met de burger met blauwe kaas en het ontbijtspek en smeer de uienchutney op de andere helft van het broodje. Serveer met de salade en de mayonaise.
