De kipfiletreepjes zijn voorgekruid met baharatkruiden. Dit is een mix van kruiden uit de Midden-Oosterse keuken, zoals kaneel, kardemom en nootmuskaat. Snijd de aardappelen.

Schil de aardappelen (nicola), snijd in de lengte doormidden en daarna in lange smalle parten. Verhit de helft van de olijfolie in een wok of hapjespan met deksel en bak de aardappelen, afgedekt, 25 – 30 minuten op middelhoog vuur. Roer regelmatig om, haal na 20 minuten minuten de deksel van de pan en bestrooi met peper en zout.

Kook de knolselderij.

Zorg dat de knolselderij net onder water staat in een pan met deksel, breng afgedekt aan de kook en kook 5 minuten op middelmatig vuur. Giet daarna af en laat zonder deksel uitstomen.

Verwijder ondertussen het klokhuis van de appel (elstar) en snijd in even grote blokjes als de knolselderij. Maak een dressing van de mosterd, witte balsamicoazijn, extra vierge olijfolie, peper en zout

Verhit de overige olijfolie in een koekenpan en bak de kipfiletreepjes in 4 minuten rondom bruin. Voeg de knolselderij toe en bak 2 minuten mee.

Roer de dressing door de kip met knolselderij.

Haal de koekenpan van het vuur en roer de appel en dressing door de kip met knolselderij. Breng verder op smaak met peper en zout.

Verkruimel de pecannoten over het gerecht.

Verdeel de kip-knolselderijsalade en gebakken aardappelen over de borden. Verkruimel de pecannoten over het gerecht.
