Cooking Steps

Voorbereiden

  • Breng ruim water met een snuf zout aan de kook in een pan voor de spaghetti.
  • Snipper ondertussen de ui en pers de knoflook of snijd fijn.
  • Snijd courgette in kleine blokjes. Rasp de wortel met een grove rasp. 
  • Snijd het ontbijtspek in reepjes.

Weetje: Courgette behoort, net als komkommer, pompoen en tomaat, tot de vruchtgroenten. Wist je dat courgette rijk is aan ijzer, vitamine C en calcium?

Pasta koken

  • Verhit de olijfolie in een hapjespan met deksel op middelhoog vuur. Fruit de ui en knoflook 1 minuut. 
  • Voeg de wortel, courgette en tomatenpuree toe en bak 1 minuut mee.
  • Voeg het gehakt en ontbijtspek toe en bak 2 - 3 minuten. 
  • Kook ondertussen de spaghetti in 10 - 12 minuten beetgaar. Giet af en laat uitstomen.
Saus stoven

  • Voeg de passata, de gedroogde oregano en de aangegeven hoeveelheid water voor de saus toe aan de hapjespan. 
  • Draai het vuur laag en laat, afgedekt, 8 - 10 minuten stoven (zie Tip). 
  • Verkruimel 1/4 runderbouillonblokje per persoon boven de hapjespan.
  • Breng op smaak met peper en zout.

Tip: Heb je iets langer de tijd? Laat het geheel langer sudderen zodat de saus nog meer smaak krijgt! Voeg eventueel meer water toe als de saus snel indikt.

Serveren

  • Meng 1/2 el saus per persoon door de pasta (zie Tip).
  • Verdeel de pasta over de borden en schep de overige saus erover.
  • Verdeel de geraspte kaas over de saus.

Tip: Door direct een kleine hoeveelheid saus door de pasta te mengen blijft de spaghetti niet aan elkaar plakken en krijgt iedere hap smaak.
