Cooking Steps

Voorbereiden

Verwarm de oven voor op 200 graden. Snijd de citroen in 8 partjes en pers 1 partje per persoon uit boven een saladekom. Meng het citroensap met 1/2 el extra vierge olijfolie per persoon en breng op smaak met peper. Halveer de komkommer in de lengte en snijd in halve maantjes. Snijd de tomaat in blokjes. Voeg de komkommer, tomaat en olijven toe aan de saladekom en meng met de dressing.

Tip: In plaats van de tortilla's in de oven te verwarmen kun je er ook voor kiezen om dit in de koekenpan te doen. Verwarm de tortilla's dan 30 seconden per kant op middelhoog vuur.

Gyros bakken

Verhit 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon in een koekenpan op middelhoog vuur en voeg de varkenshaasreepjes met gyroskruiden toe. Bak 3 – 6 minuten, of tot de varkenshaasreepjes gaar zijn. Verpak ondertussen de tortilla's in aluminiumfolie en verwarm 2 - 4 minuten in de oven.

Yoghurtsaus bereiden

Snijd de dille, munt en bladpeterselie fijn. Meng in een kom de yoghurt met de verse kruiden en breng op smaak met peper en zout. Verkruimel de feta boven de Griekse salade en meng.

Serveren

Smeer de hummus op de tortilla's. Beleg met de Griekse salade en de gyros. Garneer met de yoghurtsaus. Serveer met de overige citroenpartjes.

Tip: Komkommers bestaan voor een groot deel uit water, maar bevatten ook vitaminen en mineralen. Ze hydrateren, bevatten weinig calorieën en zorgen tegelijkertijd voor essentiële voedingsstoffen. Win-win-win dus!
