Cooking Steps

Parelcouscous koken

  • Bereid de bouillon in een pan met deksel voor de parelcouscous.
  • Voeg de parelcouscous toe en kook, afgedekt, in 12 - 14 minuten droog op laag vuur. 
  • Roer de korrels daarna los met een vork en laat zonder deksel uitstomen.
Kip bakken

  • Meng in een kom de kipfilethaasjes met 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon en de Siciliaanse kruidenmix. Breng op smaak met peper en zout.
  • Snijd de ui in dunne halve ringen.
  • Verhit een koekenpan zonder olie op middelhoog vuur en bak de ui en de kipfilethaasjes 2 - 3 minuten per kant, of tot de kip gaar is (zie Tip).

Tip: In de volgende stap snijd je de paprika voor de salade. Je serveert de paprika rauw. Houd je hier niet van? Bak de paprika dan mee met de kip.

Salade maken

  • Snijd de komkommer en paprika in blokjes.
  • Meng in een saladekom de extra vierge olijfolie met de wittewijnazijn de honing en de mosterd. Breng op smaak met peper en zout. 
  • Voeg de veldsla, komkommer, paprika, ui, kaasblokjes en parelcouscous toe aan de kom en meng met de dressing.

Weetje: Wist je dat paprika naast vitamine C ook rijk is aan vitamine E? Vitamine E is een antioxidant dat ook in zonnebloemolie, volkoren producten, noten, zaden en groene groenten zit.
