Cooking Steps

Orzo bereiden
1

Bereid de bouillon. Pers de knoflook of snijd fijn. Snipper de ui.Verhit 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon in een wok of hapjespan met deksel en fruit de ui en knoflook 2 minuten. Voeg de orzo en de bouillon toe en kook afgedekt, in 10 - 12 minuten op laag vuur droog. Schep regelmatig om. Voeg eventueel extra water toe als de orzo te droog wordt.

Snijd de puntpaprika in blokjes. Snijd de komkommer in blokjes en doe deze in een saladekom. Laat de mais uitlekken in een vergiet. Snijd de gerookte kipfilet in plakken.

Tip: Wist je dat 1 rode paprika ongeveer net zo veel vitamine C bevat als 3 sinaasappels? Paprika is ook nog rijk aan vitamine E. Deze werkt als antioxidant en beschermt onze cellen, bloedvaten, organen en ogen. Je vindt vitamine E ook in zonnebloemolie, volkoren graanproducten, noten, zaden en groene groenten zoals ook de sla in dit gerecht.

Bak de puntpaprikablokjes 2 - 3 minuten mee met de orzo. Meng in een kleine kom de yoghurt met per persoon: 1 tl extra vierge olijfolie, 1 tl mosterd, peper en zout.Meng de helft van dit yoghurtmengsel in een grote kom met de orzo, de puntpaprika en de mais. Roer goed door. Meng de andere helft met de komkommer.

Verdeel de orzo over de borden. Leg de plakjes kip erop.Serveer de komkommersalade erover.
