  • Breng ruim water met een flinke snuf zout aan de kook in een pan met deksel voor de farfalle.
  • Snijd de paprika in smalle repen. Snijd de tomaat in blokjes.
  • Snipper de ui. Pers de knoflook of snijd fijn.
  • Snijd het basilicum grof.
Worst bakken

  • Verhit 1/2 el olijfolie in een hapjespan met deksel op middelhoog vuur en bak de kipworstjes in 3 minuten rondom bruin.
  • Haal de kipworstjes uit de pan en fruit de ui en knoflook 1 minuut in dezelfde pan.
  • Voeg de paprika en tomaat toe en bak 3 minuten mee. Snijd ondertussen de worstjes in stukken.
  • Kook ondertussen de farfalle, afgedekt, 10 - 13 minuten in de pan met deksel. 
Saus maken

  • Voeg de kookroom, Sicilaanse kruiden, paprikasaus en de gesneden worstjes toe aan de pan met groenten.
  • Laat het geheel, afgedekt, 5 - 6 minuten pruttelen.
  • Voeg de pasta toe aan de saus en meng alles.
  • Breng op smaak met peper en zout.
Serveren

  • Verdeel de pasta over de borden.
  • Garneer met de geraspte kaas en het basilicum.
