Cooking Steps

1
  • Transfer the stroopwafel pieces on a clean tea towel.
  • Fold the tea towel in half and beat the stroopwafel pieces with a pan or rolling pin. If necessary, chop large pieces even finer with a knife.
  • In a bowl, mix the stroopwafel pieces with the creamcheese until a smooth mixture.
  • Shape into 10 balls and thread one ball per skwewer.

Tip: Do you have a kitchen machine or food processor? Then use this to finely chop the almonds and then mix with the rest of the ingredients.

2
  • Bring plenty of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  • Pour the chocolate chips into a glass bowl (use one that's bigger than the pan). Place the bowl over the pan and allow the chocolate to melt, stirring continuously.
  • Turn the heat off when the chocolate has melted, but leave the bowl on the pan.
  • Add the chocolate into a longtail glass.
3
  • Finely chop the pistachio nuts and speculaas pieces.
  • Dip the cake pops into the chocolate, tranfer them in a longtail glass they don't stick together.
4
  • Garnish half of the cake pops with the pistache nuts and half with the speculaas pieces.
