Cooking Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C. 
  • Cut the brie into small cubes.

  • Transfer the puff pastry to a parchment-lined baking sheet. 
  • Use a glass of approximately 7 centimeters to cut out the circles out of the dough by using a knife.
  • When done, roll out the left-over puff pastry and repeat the above step. 
  • Repeat until all puff pastry is used.

  • Add 1/2 tsp of the chutney to half of the circles. Divide the brie cubes over the circles. 
  • Lay a puff pastry circle on top of one circle and press around the edges to seal. Repeat for the rest of the hearts. 
  • Sprinkle the honey and sesame seeds on top. 
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and cook for 12 - 15 minutes, or until golden.

  • Let the appetizers cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet. 
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and serve warm.
