- Boil plenty of water in a saucepan. Carefully transfer the egg to the water and boil for 5 - 7 minutes, then rinse under cold water.
- Slice the onion into half-rings.
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat and fry the onion for 3 - 4 minutes.
- Deglaze with the balsamic vinegar, then remove from the pan and set aside.

- Fry the chicken in the same pan for 6 - 7 minutes per side over medium-high heat (see Tip). Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Meanwhile, roughly chop the lettuce.
- Slice the carrot into thin crescents and crush or mince the garlic.
- Juice half of the lemon and cut the rest into wedges.
Tip: add some more oil if necessary.
- In a bowl, combine the Worcestershire sauce with the garlic, the lemon juice, the mayonnaise and the mustard. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the lettuce to a salad bowl, then add half of the dressing and toss well to combine.
- Heat a clean frying pan over medium-high heat and warm the tortillas for 1 - 2 minutes per side.
- Peel and quarter the egg. Slice the chicken.
- Fill the tortillas with the lettuce, the chicken, the onion, the carrot and the egg.
- Serve the wraps on plates and drizzle with the rest of the dressing.
- Grate the cheese directly over to finish.
