Cooking Steps

  • Add the cream to a small saucepan and let it come to a boil.
  • Add the white chocolate chips and butter to a bowl. 
  • Once the cream comes to a boil, immediately remove it from the heat and pour it over the white chocolate and butter. 
  • Let the mixture sit for 2 - 3 minutes without stirring or until the white chocolate and butter soften.

  • Once soft, mix until the white chocolate and butter are melted and fully incorporated into the cream. 
  • Cover the chocolate mixture and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours. 
  • Meanwhile, finely chop the pistachio nuts and add them to a small bowl. 
  • Add the desiccated coconut to another small bowl.

  • Remove the chocolate mixture from the refrigerator. 
  • Scoop out 1 tsp of the white chocolate mixture and roll it into a little ball to form the truffle.
  • Transfer the truffle to a plate and repeat for the rest of the mix.

  • Roll half of the truffles through the pistachio nuts until evenly coated. 
  • Roll the other half of the truffles through the desiccated coconut. 
  • Transfer the white chocolate truffles to a serving dish (see Tip). 

Tip: If you are not serving the truffles right away, store them in the refrigerator for up to three days.
