Frequently asked questions
There are two ways to order your Christmas menu this year:
- By choosing recipes from the weekly menu as usual. The special recipes labeled 'Christmas Menu' (some of which are available at an additional cost) will be delivered to you in the same way as your weekly meal box. You can also add extras from the 'Christmas extras' category to complete your festive menu.
- By adding a Christmas box to your weekly meal box. The Christmas boxes consist of 4 recipes (starter, soup, main course and dessert) for 2 to 4 people and are available for 4 different menus: meat & fish, fish, veggie or nice and quick.
Yes, your HelloFresh membership must be active because the Christmas menu is not sold separately. In addition, the special Christmas boxes cannot be ordered without your regular weekly recipes.

Christmas menu recipes
- Shrimp crostini: 25 minutes
- Whipped feta with zucchini: 25 minutes
- Luxury burrata salad with serrano ham: 10 minutes
- Creamy potato and leek soup with gruyère crostini: 25 minutes
- Creamy tomato soup with parmesan chips: 20 minutes
- Entrecote with cranberry-veal jus: 25 minutes
- Salmon in a crispy jacket with crispy roseval potatoes: 60 minutes
- Stuffed pumpkin with cheesy orzo: 60 minutes
- Creamy cheesecake with passion fruit sauce: 25 minutes
- Chocolate lava cake with strawberry sauce: 20 minutes
Christmas boxes - Meat & fish: 100 minutes
- Fish: 135 minutes
- Veggie: 130 minutes
- Nice and fast: 75 minutes
The recipes are explained using 4 to 6 simple steps with images. There is also a quick option for each course that is ready in 25 minutes, so you have to spend less time in the kitchen. We also have the Christmas box with the Delicious fast menu for a four-course dinner that can be on the table in 75 minutes.
- The Christmas menu recipes can be ordered for a maximum of 16 portions per meal. You can increase the number of servings by clicking on the '+' below the recipe title.
- The Christmas boxes are available for 2 to 4 people. You can of course order multiple boxes if you want to cook for a larger group.
- For delivery between December 7 and 11, 2024: Only some Christmas menu recipes (main courses) are available. All extras and Christmas boxes can already be ordered. The deadline for changing your box is between December 4 and 8, depending on the delivery day you choose.
- For delivery between December 14 and 18, 2024: All recipes, extras and Christmas boxes can be ordered. The deadline to change your box is between December 11 and 15, depending on the delivery day you choose.
- For delivery between December 21 and 24, 2024: All recipes, extras and Christmas boxes can be ordered. The deadline to change your box is between December 18 and 19, depending on the delivery day you choose.
Note: No boxes will be delivered on December 25 and 26, 2024.
Yes, click on 'Manage your box', then on 'Customize delivery time' and select the date and time that suits you best. If possible, try to schedule your delivery no more than 2 days before the day of your Christmas dinner to ensure the freshness of the ingredients. For example, for a dinner on December 25 or 26, we recommend that you schedule delivery for December 24.
Yes, if the Christmas dinner is not taking place at your home, you can change the delivery address under 'Settings' in your online account. Don't forget to adjust this after the holidays, so that your next meal box will be delivered to your personal address again.
Let us know in 'Settings' in your online account where we can leave the box when you are not there (for example on the doorstep or with the neighbors).
You will find the list of ingredients and allergens in your weekly menu if you click on the recipe or product in your menu. In addition, this information is also stated on the recipe cards and labels of our recipes and products.
All prices are listed in your weekly menu. Some recipes are included in your membership and require no additional costs. You can recognize them by the label 'Included in membership'.
