Make sure your push notifications are active so that you receive notifications in the app. This is how you do it:

If you don't have a smartphone or if would you rather not receive notifications, we will then send you the delivery time of your box by email. You don't have to do anything to receive these notifications.

The facts on our recipe cards—such as “high in protein” or “contains vitamin C”—are based on European nutritional guidelines. These claims are only used when a recipe or ingredient genuinely meets specific nutritional criteria. For example, a recipe or ingredient must contain a minimum amount of protein or vitamin C per serving.
We carefully analyse our recipes to ensure that every claim is accurate and complies with applicable legislation. Our health facts refer specifically to a recipe or ingredient and provide additional insight into its health benefits. The day before delivery you will receive a push notification or email with a Track and Trace link. We indicate when you can expect the box the next day. This time may change in the meantime - although this will be minimal. Please note that the time is an indication and that the delivery person may have to deal with traffic jams, weather conditions, or other delays.
The notification contains a link with more information about the expected arrival time of your box. With this link you can track your box to your front door. You can also find the status of the box in your weekly menu:

We charge this small amount to verify your payment information. The amount will be automatically refunded after a few days. Depending on the payment method, this can be between €0.01 and €1.

The box in which all ingredients are delivered is recyclable. The cardboard that HelloFresh uses is made to come into contact with food.
Most packaging is recyclable. Did you know that plastic around a cucumber extends its shelf life by 10 to 14 days? Without foil around it, the vegetable will lose 10% of its weight within 3 days. And if you throw away the cucumber, you also throw away the natural gas that heats the greenhouse in which the cucumber was grown.
Since the product itself has a much greater CO₂ impact than the packaging, using packaging is more sustainable because food is not wasted.
We are always working to minimize plastic use or to keep packaging as small as possible.
For example, we have recently started using smaller and lighter packaging for salmon, cod, minced meat, mushrooms and feta. The plastic packaging of cream and yoghurt has also been replaced by beverage cartons.
For example, in 2021 we achieved a plastic reduction of 18% in the average weight of plastic packaging per recipe, compared to 2020. In addition, we are continuously working on various initiatives to further reduce this.
Food belongs on your plate, not in the trash. Food waste has an impact on the climate. We therefore purchase the ingredients based on your order and in exactly the right quantities, which is why we also have a weekly deadline. We represent less than 0.2% food waste in our chain.

Is the driver already on their way with your box? Then post a comment via the Track and Trace link or send a message to customer service.
You can also easily make adjustments before the deadline for your box via your account.
Since we deliver a box with fresh ingredients, we prefer to hand these over to you personally. So make sure you are at home at the time of delivery. But if you're not at home, then we may ring the doorbell of the neighbors and ask them if they would like to accept the box for you. We will then tell you where you can pick up the box via a note in your mailbox. If your neighbors do not open the door, we will take the box back with us.
A HelloFresh meal box subscription is very flexible. You can pause or adjust your box weekly.
Every week you can choose your own recipes from a varied menu. A box with fresh ingredients and recipe cards will be delivered to your home at a time that suits you. Need to skip a week? Pause your delivery with just one click. Hosting dinner? Double the number of portions of a recipe so everyone can enjoy your cooking!
You can easily adjust your subscription via your account, in the app, or on the website. Please make sure that you notify us of any changes before the deadline for selecting your recipes. Depending on your delivery time, this is no later than 3 to 6 days before delivery. The exact deadline for changing your box can be found in your online weekly menu.

Although we guarantee that all meals are safe to consume within 5 days of receipt, due to popular demand, we now also offer the option to add a seventh meal to your box. This makes your subscription even more flexible and from now on you can enjoy a HelloFresh meal for an extra day, for example during lunch or when friends come over for dinner.
As always, check the expiration date on the label before consuming your ingredients and ensure that everything is kept refrigerated before use. Use your senses to check whether unlabeled products, such as fruits and vegetables, are still fresh. We will continue to mention the expiry date for consumption on the recipe card.

Our delivery team is happy to bring your HelloFresh Box to your doorstep at the scheduled time. A delivery fee of €5.99 per box ensures your order arrives accurately and hassle-free.
You can select your preferred delivery times. During busier periods, a small additional fee may apply to cover the extra effort required for delivery.
The available delivery times depend on the crowds in the area where you live.
When placing your order, we only verify your payment method. This payment method is then saved as the default payment method. Payment for your first box will be charged the morning after your box deadline. Please note that Premium recipes and extras are charged separately.
After the first payment, all subsequent boxes will be automatically debited. This happens on the morning after the order deadline of your box. The exact moment at which the amount is debited varies per payment method and bank.
Please note: if you have paid for your first box with iDeal, the direct debit will continue via your bank account from the second box onwards. Of course, we only charge costs if you have ordered a box that week.
Good to know: Premium recipes and extras are charged separately. It is therefore possible that three separate debits are made for one delivery week.
Don't worry, we will contact you within a week if this happens. We will let you know which payment has failed, what the outstanding balance is, and how you can still make the payment.
There are several possible reasons why your payment failed. For example, you may have insufficient funds in your account, your payment details have expired, or your chosen payment method is not available for online purchases.
If your payment has been declined, please check that your payment details (such as your account number and due date) are correct. If not, change the details or add another payment method here.
If the payment problems persist, please contact your bank and check whether your chosen payment method supports online purchases and recurring transactions.

In addition to individual products, we also have boxes that contain more than one product and the contents of which are different every week, such as the Fruit Box (14/25 pieces of fruit) and the Baking Box twice a week.
