Cooking Steps

Voorbereiden

Verwarm de oven voor op 220 graden. Schil de aardappelen en snijd in repen van 1/2 - 1 cm dik. Meng in een kom de frieten met 1/2 el olijfolie per persoon. Breng op smaak met peper en zout.

Ovenfriet maken

Verdeel de frieten over een bakplaat met bakpapier. Bak 25 - 35 minuten in de oven, of langer als je ze nog knapperiger wilt. Schep halverwege om.

Groenten snijden

Snijd de ui in halve ringen. Snijd de komkommer in blokjes. Halveer de little gem en snijd in dunne reepjes. Pers de knoflook of snijd fijn.

Weetje: Wist je dat ui een bron van vitamine C is? Deze vitamine helpt het lichaam om, onder andere, ijzer beter uit voeding op te nemen.

Dressing maken

Meng in een saladekom per persoon: 1 1/2 el mayonaise en 1 1/2 el karnemelk tot een dressing (zie Tip). Breng op smaak met peper en zout. Meng in een kleine kom de overige mayonaise met de knoflook. Heb je een grote knoflookteen ontvangen of vind je rauwe knoflook al gauw te scherp? Gebruik dan de helft.

Tip: Heb je geen karnemelk in huis? Vervang dit dan door yoghurt of melk. De dressing kan wat dikker of dunner worden, maar dit doet niks af aan de smaak!

Vegetarische kebab bakken

Verhit de overige olijfolie in een ruime koekenpan op middelhoog vuur. Bak de rode ui 2 minuten. Voeg de vegetarische döner kebab toe en bak nog 5 - 7 minuten. Meng ondertussen in de saladekom de little gem en komkommer met de dressing.

Weetje: Deze zelfgemaakte kapsalon bevat meer dan 200 gram groente en is bereid met weinig zout en weinig verzadigde vetten. Dat is een groot verschil met de klassieke kapsalon van de snackbar!

Serveren

Verdeel de frieten over de borden. Leg de salade erop, verdeel de vegetarische kebab daarover en garneer met de kaas. Serveer met de knoflookmayonaise. Wil je de frieten liever krokant houden? Leg de salade en de vegetarische kebab dan naast de frieten (zie Tip).

Tip: Houd je van pittig en heb je sambal in huis? Voeg dit dan naar smaak toe aan de kapsalon.
