Cooking Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 160°C. 
  • Add the peanut butter and olive oil to a large mixing bowl. Mix well and add a pinch of salt. 
  • Add the oats, sugar, peanuts, pecans, sunflower seeds and dates to the bowl and mix it with the peanut butter mixture.

  • Transfer the granola to a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it into an even layer. 
  • Bake the granola in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes. 
  • Stir and mix the granola every 5 - 10 minutes until it is toasted all around (see Tip). 

Tip: depending on your type of oven, it could take a little longer for the granola to bake. Keep an eye on the oven and check every 5 minutes!

  • Remove the granola from the oven and let cool completely (see Tip). 
  • Mix in the chocolate chips. 
  • Store in an airtight container.

Tip: once the granola has cooled down completely, it will become nice and crunchy!
