Ovenfriet maken

Verwarm de oven voor op 220 graden. Schil de aardappelen en snijd ze in repen van 1/2 – 1 cm dik. Dep de frieten droog met keukenpapier en verdeel ze over een bakplaat met bakpapier. Meng de frieten met de helft van de olijfolie en breng op smaak met peper en zout. Bak 25 – 35 minuten in de oven, of langer wanneer je ze knapperiger wilt. Schep halverwege om.

Pers ondertussen de knoflook of snijd fijn. Halveer de cherrytomaten en snijd of

knip de bieslook fijn.

Dressing en mayo maken

Meng voor de dressing in een saladekom 1 1/2 el van de mayonaise per persoon met de karnemelk en de bieslook (geen karnemelk in huis? Zie TIP). Breng op smaak met peper en zout. Meng in een kleine kom de overige mayonaise met de knoflook. Heb je een grote knoflookteen ontvangen of vind je rauwe knoflook al gauw te scherp? Gebruik dan de helft.

Tip: Heb je geen karnemelk in huis? Vervang dit dan door yoghurt, melk of enkel mayonaise. De dressing kan dan wel wat dikker of dunner worden, maar de smaak past wel goed bij het gerecht.

Kipgyros bakken

Verhit de overige olijfolie in een koekenpan op middelhoog vuur en bak de kipgyros in 5 – 7 minuten gaar.

Salade mengen

Meng ondertussen in de saladekom de radicchio & ijbergsla en de cherrytomaten met de dressing.

Serveren

Verdeel de frieten over het bord. Leg de salade erop en verdeel de kipgyros daarover. Schep de knoflookmayonaise erop. Wil je de frieten liever krokant houden? Leg de salade en de kipgyros dan naast de friet (zie TIP).

Tip: Houd je van pittig en heb je sambal in huis? Voeg dit dan naar smaak aan de kapsalon toe.
