Haal de kazen alvast uit de koelkast wanneer je aan het hoofdgerecht begint. Als je de kaas op kamertemperatuur laat komen, komen alle smaak- en geuraroma’s weer vrij.

Bak vlak voor serveren de walnoot-rozijnen broodjes 6 - 8 minuten in de voorverwarmde oven.

Weet jij het verschil tussen gezwavelde en ongezwavelde abrikozen? Gezwavelde abrikozen herken je aan hun felle oranje kleur. In tegenstelling tot ongezwavelde abrikozen die donkerbruin van kleur zijn. Die oranje abrikozen zien er wellicht frisser uit, maar de ongezwavelde variant is natuurlijker, verser en – volgens velen – een stuk lekkerder. Daarom kiezen wij ook altijd voor de ongezwavelde variant.

Leg de kaasjes en de gedroogde abrikozen op een mooie plank. Schep de uienchutney in een klein kommetje en zet deze op de plank. Mocht je nog wat rode wijn overhebben van het hoofdgerecht; serveer deze dan bij het kaasplankje.
